Another strong Pacific storm is forecast to bring rain to the Valley later this week, but weather experts said Tuesday the forecast is getting drier each day.
"Weather system for later this week looking a bit drier by the day, but we still expect scattered to numerous showers across the central deserts with best chances on (Thursday) night," the National Weather Service in Phoenix tweeted.
A 70 percent chance of rain is forecast for the Phoenix area Thursday night, falling to 50 percent Friday, and up to a quarter-inch of precipitation is possible each day, the weather service reported.
