Puerto Rico After Hurricane Maria

The Atlantic Hurricane season this year has seen three hurricanes cause excessive rains, winds, and damages In the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean. Among these hurricanes was the strongest one named Hurricane Maria. The hurricane itself swept the Caribbean causing necessary evacuations to be had. One of the nations that suffered a lot of damages was Puerto Rico, and they're still recovering from the event.

People who lived in Puerto Rico were forced to leave and now can't get in contact with families left behind during the storm. In the meanwhile, the Army Corps of Engineers have been involved in assisting with the reconstruction of homes destroyed and workplaces during the storm. There are also plans to build a better network grid so that electricity isn't scarce the next time a hurricane impacts the country.
