While the weather in the U.S. will see a change in the winter weather, New England will have a different experience. As the southern states of the U.S. will get warmer with only several parts of the top layer of the U.S getting cooler, some websites have determined that New England will have warmer-than-normal temperatures with colder temperatures appearing at times. This is due to the effects of La Nina, and according to some predictions, the colder climates of September and October somewhat guarantee a snowier winter. The chances of this is unpredictable because of the nature of La Nina itself, but there will still be a cold winter nonetheless.
