Event:Flash Flood Watch
Alert:
...Heavy Rainfall Likely Across Parts of Northern Illinois
Tonight...

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING
THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of north central Illinois and northeast Illinois,
including the following areas, in north central Illinois,
Boone, DeKalb, La Salle, Lee, Ogle, and Winnebago. In
northeast Illinois, Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake IL, and
McHenry.

* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Saturday afternoon

* Heavy rain producing thunderstorms are likely over northern
Illinois tonight. Given that numerous thunderstorms may track
over the same locations, significant rainfall amounts of over 2
inches, and locally, up to 4 inches, are possible across a
portion of northern IL into Saturday morning.

* Expect additional rises on area rivers, particularly the Rock,
Pecatonica and Fox River basins. Portions of these rivers are
already above flood stage or are close to flood stage and this
rainfall will worsen river conditions.
