Thunderstorms Across Ohio
Late Tuesday afternoon, many thunderstorms through Ohio, Pennsylvania, southern New York, northern New Jersey and western Connecticut can briefly become severe at the local level with isolated damaging winds and flash flooding. The risk includes a small number of tornadoes.
A tornado strike on a nursing home in Crawford County, Pennsylvania, was confirmed by emergency managers on Tuesday afternoon.
The storms will interrupt anyone taking advantage of the warmth by tackling outdoor projects, field work and exercise, according to AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski.
