Another Weekend of Snow

Latest radar trends snow the area of heaviest snowfall moving rapidly through the Chicago area. Visibilities are as low as 1/8 mil and the snow is quickly piling up. Most areas will get between 1-3 inches before it diminishes with a few areas picking up as much as 4 inches.
Another period of snow is possible later this afternoon or evening with another inch or two of accumulation expected mainly across portions of the Chicago Metro area. The area of snow is moving rapidly to the east and will be ending from the west between 2 and 4 pm. Most areas will pick up 1 to 3 inches of snow but some local 4 inch totals are possible.
