East coast bracing for `Perfect Storm' on Halloween- Alexis Brunson

Weather events like that are rare and now we are looking at what could be a history making repeat next Monday through Thursday.
This perfect storm could result from a merging of a hurricane Sandy coming up the eastern seaboard and the winter storm with a strong arctic cold front that will cause our temperatures to plummet from 70s into the 40s this weekend. Sandy is a rare late October hurricane that is on track to make landfall on the New Jersey coast Tuesday and then stall while interacting with the winter storm and cold front.
The entire east coast from Florida to Maine will be impacted, but the large metropolitan areas including Washington DC, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York and Boston will be hit hardest
