Sunday Storm

Information from: The Weather Channel

Rainy Forecast

Rain will spread northward Sunday from parts of the Carolinas into the big cities of the Northeast, including Sunday's AFC Championship football game in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Right now it looks most likely that the I-95 corridor from Boston to Washington, D.C. will see rain, while locations farther inland will see snow. There is a chance that the rain may change over to snow before ending on Monday close to Boston and New York.

Wintry Side

Light to moderate snow will fall over inland part of the Northeast. The areas that will see the greatest moisture with this system will be too warm for snow which will limit snowfall totals.
A winter storm watch was issued Saturday morning for Vermont, northern New Hampshire and northwestern Maine for the potential of heavy snow and reduced visibility Sunday afternoon and into Monday.
It is most likely that wintry conditions will be found inland and any significant snow will be found in parts of upstate New York and northern New England Sunday night and into Monday. There may also be some lake-effect snow on the backside of the system.
