New tornado confirmed from Friday's storms [in Alabama], bringing total to two

At least two tornadoes touched down in Alabama during a round of severe weather on Friday.
The National Weather Service had already confirmed one tornado, which ran through Cullman and Winston counties and peaked as an EF-2.
But the weather service in Huntsville on Monday confirmed a second tornado and released a preliminary storm report.
The new tornado was an EF-1 with peak winds of 90 mph. It touched down in the Higdon area in Jackson County at 6:25 p.m. Friday.
