Hurricane Patricia Recap: Strongest Landfalling Pacific Hurricane on Record

http://www.weather.com/storms/hurricane/news/hurricane-patricia-mexico-coast

Patricia initially formed on Oct. 20, 2015 and dissipated on Oct. 24, 2015. On Oct. 23, Patricia became the most intense tropical cyclone ever measured in the Western Hemisphere as its maximum sustained winds reached an unprecedented 200 mph and its central pressure fell to 879 millibars! I remember when this hit. My boyfriend's mother was in Mexico and he was really scared because he could not get in touch with her. It's truly amazing how powerful these phenomenons get...and no matter the size or power, it amazes me every single time! The short 1 and a half minute video in the article talks a lot about the storm and the potential damages it may cause to Mexico and some of the surrounding cities that Patricia hit.
