Tropical Depression Beryl: A Rainmaker Now.


There's a perception out there that a tropical cyclone is merely a coastal event.  That's understandable.
The storm surge, a rise in sea-level due to a hurricane's winds, has the potential for the greatest loss of life.  Winds over 100 mph can also trigger their own destruction as a hurricane makes landfall.
