Tornado Warnings Expired but Storms are Still on Their Way

The tornado warning issued for Cook and Will counties has expired, although heavy rain and flooding are still expected throughout the Chicago area Friday night.

ABC7 Meteorologist Cheryl Scott says radar indicated rotation in a strong thunderstorm located south of Chicago near Monee, Ill. Although the tornado warning has expired, the storm - which is producing heavy rain and lightning - is heading east at 20 mph.
