A magnitude-4.7 earthquake shook portions of northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas Monday morning. It struck days after another 4.7, tying it for Oklahoma's strongest earthquake of 2015.
The tremor was upgraded from a 4.5 to a 4.7 a few hours after it shook the state.
The latest quake struck just before 4 a.m. local time to the south of the Kansas/Oklahoma border, a little more than 16 miles south and west of Medford, Oklahoma, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
