Global weather patterns to bring wet, cold winter to Georgia
The Pacific El Niño weather pattern is now officially the strongest on record, boosting meteorologists’ expectations that winter in this part of the world is likely to be cold and wet.
Weather watchers are also keeping an eye on another developing weather pattern that tends to make winter colder in the United States - the early formation of the Siberian snow pack.
When snow is thick in that part of world as early as October, that tends to set up conditions for colder than normal temperatures in the eastern United States, again including Georgia.http://m.onlineathens.com/mobile/2015-11-26/global-weather-patterns-bring-wet-cold-winter-georgia#article=8225E93526A29B5C69C794E80AD54B065371
