Winter Storm Delphi

Winter Storm Delphi will continue to wring out areas of snow Tuesday and Tuesday night in the northern Plains and Upper Midwest after dumping up to 11 inches of snow in parts of South Dakota, and up to 9 inches in portions of Iowa and Minnesota.

The snow, coupled with gusty winds, will create potentially challenging travel conditions in those regions, particularly north and west of Minneapolis/St. Paul and, once again, the Sioux Falls, South Dakota metro area. Locally up to a foot of snow is possible in some areas by the time the snow winds down later Tuesday.
