This October - specifically around October 7 - the moon will show itself in a different color as the name "Harvest Moon" will be applied. This name is usually given to this moon at the fall equinox, and this is due to how light travels when the moon reaches the horizon.
The sight of this Harvest moon can be seen at various parts of the U.S.Of course, depending on the weather conditions, the cities that will have view of the Harvest Moon will either see a cloud cover for a brief period or none at all. Other than this, there is only a select time to see it, and it consistently appears at the evening of each city that can view it.
