Rare Double Moonbow Captured in Night Sky Above Iceland

hotographer Víðir Björnsson and a friend were driving in heavy wind and rain when they spotted the rare phenomenon.
"First I thought I was just seeing some reflection from the window of my car,” he told the BBC, “but then me and my friend who was driving decided to stop and try to get a picture of it."
Björnsson posted the images on social media where, according to Iceland Magazine, he pointed out a second, fainter moonbow in the photo just above the first. Though the second moonbow can just barely be made out in the photograph, Björnsson says it was much more visible to the naked eye.
