Tropical Storm Rina forms in the central Atlantic

Newly formed Tropical Storm Rina will remain no threat to North America as it gets swept into cold waters this week.
Tropical Depression 19 formed over the central Atlantic early morning morning and strengthened into Tropical Storm Rina early Monday night approximately 900 miles east of Bermuda.
Water temperatures are sufficiently warm and winds aloft are light right now, but Rina is not expected to rapidly strengthen into a hurricane.
The storm will mainly pose a threat to shipping and cruising interests over the North Atlantic as it stirs rough seas.
By the time the storm passes close to the British Isles it should be nothing more than a moderate wind and rainstorm.T.D. 19 11.6 AM
