Is Australia Okay?

Sydney Swelters, Melbourne's underwater, and it's snowing in Tasmania.

Australia may only be days into summer but in many states the weather hasn't quite caught up yet, with parts of the country hit by severe rain and even snow.
While Sydney sweltered through temperatures nearing 30C (86F) on Sunday, flood warnings remained for parts of Victoria and snow was even recorded in central Tasmania.
Resorts east of Launceston posted photos of white blanketing the ground, with residents choosing to stay indoors out of the cold.

Conditions are expected to remain cool through the rest of the week, with a series of lows moving through the North East again on Wednesday, bringing a chance of rain.
More than 30mm was recorded overnight, with Hobart receiving 36mm and Mt Wellington copping 52mm, prompting police to warn motorists to drive to the conditions.

Snow fell through the North East Highlands and Central Plateau, a Bureau of Meteorology spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia on Sunday

Meanwhile, Sydneysiders flocked to the beach as temperatures soared to 29C,  only a day after record-breaking floods devastated Victorian towns.
Hundreds were spotted soaking up the sun at Bondi and other beaches in Sydney's east, despite water temperatures dipping to a cool 15C.
