Severe Weather Aims for Cleveland Sunday Evening

The weekend will end with damaging thunderstorms targeting Cleveland.
The greatest risk for numerous tornadoes lies to the west, but that does not mean residents and visitors of Cleveland should take this situation lightly.
The line of violent thunderstorms set to cross Cleveland Sunday evening will still be potent and pose hazards to lives and property.
The strongest of those thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging winds, blinding downpours and frequent lightning.
The strength of the winds could lead to downed trees, power outages and overturned high-profile vehicles. Falling trees can cause additional damage or bodily harm.
All residents and visitors are urged to heed all severe weather-related watches and warnings during this dangerous situation.
Strong winds following the line of severe weather later Sunday night and Monday could lead to additional damage. The city will dry out later Sunday night with a shower or two returning on Monday.
Cooler air will also arrive Sunday night, sending temperatures down into the lower 40s. Temperatures will remain in the 40s on Monday with even colder AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures.
