Another Snowstorm?

This Valentine's Day weekend may bring another large snowstorm to the weary regions of the East Coast that have been experiencing this kind of weather frequently as of late. It is possible that another snowstorm could develop along with bitter cold temperatures and strong winds, creating blizzard conditions.

According to meteorologists, low pressure may intensity off the Eastern seaboard on Saturday night, continuing into Sunday. There is a chance that the conditions will shift and potentially dump most of the snow offshore, but meteorologists are waiting and watching. The most recent forecast is that another arctic front will spread light snow and wind throughout the Great Lakes region on Friday. On Saturday, light to moderate snow will spread from the Great Lakes into the Northeast as the cold front advances. Later Saturday night, heavy snow in Eastern states such as New York and New Jersey.

This storm could potentially produce a foot or more of snow in the coastal areas of New England. Forecasters are also considering winds up to 50mph, which would create blizzard conditions, sporadic power outages, and fallen trees in these areas. There is also the possibility of potential surge flooding.
