Killer Shrimp Might Be The Next Species to Invade the Great Lakes

In the last two centuries 180 species have invaded the great lakes basin. The Killer Shrimp might be the next new species to call the great lakes home. The Killer Shrimp got to the United States via foreign tanker ships. When ships travel long distances they have certain set points along their route where they dump wastewater and along with the waist comes Killer Shrimp. The Shrimp have traveled up through ballast water dumps The killer Shrimp also eat fish eggs and displace native populations.
