A tornado touched down near Lane Community College in Eugene Tuesday, flipping one car and lifting another off the ground with two people inside. The two students were not hurt.

The tornado touched down in the southwest corner of the parking lot on the college's main campus at 4:10 p.m. It flipped another car, which thankfully no one was inside, and damaged at least two others.

The National Weather Service confirmed the tornado around 6 p.m. They later rated it as an EF0 tornado, with 65 to 85 mph winds, wrapped in hail and rain.
