La Nina is predicted to fuel a cold winter for the Rockies and the Midwest with January bringing the "coldest air of the season". In the Northern Plains, it is said that temperatures will hit minus thirty. In addition, the forecast is said to provide these areas with an above normal snow season.
Even the Southwest is said to have a very dry winter that goes back and forth. With the effects of Irma and Harvey, this dry climate will be very beneficial to these areas. In the Rockies, there will be a tremendous amount of snow which is perfect for skiing. Stay safe and stay warm.
