Australian Heat Wave

Heat waves are the number one weather-related cause of death, and they have made their rounds in other countries besides the U.S. Currently, the Australian continent is experiencing heat waves that will have an effect on the cities and territories with the most likely chance of having severe to extreme heat waves. In cities like Sydney, there will be brief periods of sunny days in the high 20Cs and brief periods of hotter ones in the mid 30Cs before decreasing to the low 20s though western Sydney will consistently be getting hotter to 40Cs as the days progress. The nation's capital Canberra is expected to receive the most heat wave exposure with five days of 30Cs while the capital Hobart is the only one not exceeding temperatures past 30Cs. In the meantime, the people who live in these regions will both enjoy the sunny days and practice precautionary measures when it becomes too hot.
