Historic Rainstorm Ends Continues

"While the historic rainstorm will continue to pile up remarkable rainfall totals in South Carolina today, there will be just a little lingering light rain and drizzle for a while closer to home in Central North Carolina. So far, we've had 11 days in row of measurable precipitation. The last time that happened was back in the 80s!

There will be more of this light precipitation to the south of the Triangle than to the north. The cloud cover that will linger today will hold the temperatures in the 60s for yet another day. If we get any measurable rain today, we will tie a record for the most days in a row with precipitation. The last time this happened, none of us were around. It was in 1887!"
