Winter Storm Stella
On March 16, 2017 Winter Storm Stella moved out of the Northeast after dumping 3 to nearly 5 feet of snow in some areas, paralyzing several major cities, knocking out power out to half a million and crippling air travel for thousands.
The powerful storm killed at least 16 people, grounded more than 6,000 flights and shut down several major cities, including New York City and Boston.
