Austrailia is Down Under (Water)

In Casteron, Victoria, Austrailia has been victim to a devastating series of floods. The Glenelg river near the town overcame its banks in a single night. The river came up to 6 meters at its peak during the weekend. Police and emergency crews received about 220 calls throughout the weekend. 10 homes have been flooded while about 40 are surrounded by water and making it difficult to be reached by authorities.

Other Victoria towns were devastated by the floods, with 10,000 buildings losing power in the Southern region.
