Damaging winds

Storms moving across Central Illinois this afternoon and evening have the chance to become severe, with threats of damaging wind and heavy rainfall.
The National Weather Service at Lincoln issued a hazardous weather outlook Monday morning for much of the region, including Macon and surrounding counties. It said today's forecast calls for storms through much of the day, although the scattered thunderstorms this morning are not expected to be severe.
Later in the day, the weather service said, there is the threat of severe weather, including the possibility of a tornado or large hail.
