ORLANDO, Fla. — Clouds hung on longer than anticipated on this Monday, but big holes were able to develop and the sun breaks made it feel and look a little better outside.
Lingering moisture in the atmosphere allowed clouds to stick around longer than we anticipated Monday, but we were still able to enjoy big sun breaks.
Cooler and drier air is invading, so we’ll watch for a slow clearing as the night wears on. We go from chilly afternoon highs in the 40s in Flagler and Marion Counties, to the 50s and lower 60s elsewhere.
Another weak wind shift is slipping by us Monday evening, which will increase our wind toward sunrise and reinforce the chill in our air. As a matter of fact, we’ll be talking about wind chill readings for kids at the bus stop in the morning.
